Description

Straight Bridge is a public road bridge that spans the River Rawthey. It was likely built in the late 17th century or early 18th century and was widened on the north-east side in the 19th century. The bridge is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and features one high segmental arch, with the south-west side having double-course voussoirs. The parapets have been rebuilt, and the bridge has battered abutments.
