Description

Garsdale Bridge is a public road bridge located over the Clough River, likely dating from the 17th century, with some rebuilding and alterations made in the 19th century. The bridge is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and features a single span in a Tudor-arched shape, supported by double rows of rubble voussoirs. It is flanked by battered buttresses, and the rebuilt parapets extend westward as boundary walls.
