Small farmhouse or cottage, now house. Probably early to mid C18; altered. White-painted rubble, stone slate roof. Single-depth 2-unit plan plus later extension to rear. EXTERIOR: 2 low storeys and 3 windows (grouped 1:2); with a stone-slate drip-course over the ground floor to left and right; a wide lean-to porch offset slightly left, with side benches and a square-headed inner door with part-glazed door. Each side of porch a 2-light casement, with glazing bars, a small square window at 1st floor to the left and 2 small rectangular windows to the right, all these with 9-pane glazing. Gable chimney to left, now partly built into gable wall of adjoining house. Rear has C20 single-storey flat-roofed extension. INTERIOR: lateral stone partition wall to right of doorway, at ground floor only; housepart to left has 2 axial beams made of re-used cruck timbers, with exposed joists and a square stone fireplace with chamfered jambs. In the rear right-hand corner is a spiral newel staircase with stone steps and a chamfered newel post. Parlour to right has C20 beams. Upper floor has C20 wooden partitions. Despite some alterations, and modern additions to the rear, still a recognisable example of its type and date.
