Description
This is a parish boundary stone located 150 metres south-west of Helwith Bridge, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of slate and stands about 45 centimetres high. The upper surface is angled from the top right to the bottom left and is inscribed with the word "STAINFORTH." This stone is adjacent to a similar stone in the parish of Horton in Ribblesdale. The asset was previously listed twice under the parish of Horton in Ribblesdale, but that listing was removed on July 5, 2018.
