Description

Langley Detached Windpump is a late 19th-century windpump featuring a red brick tower and a boat-shaped weatherboarded cap. The tower is circular and tapers over four storeys. It has 20th-century windows with segmental brick arches. The structure includes a cap frame, worm hangers, and a petticoat, along with a curb, track, and rack. A cast iron windshaft is also present, and there is a 20th-century thatched extension. This windpump is included for its group value.
