Description

Stracey Arms Windpump is a Grade II* listed windpump, built in 1883. It features a red brick tower with a boat-shaped weatherboarded cap. The tower is circular and tapers as it rises, standing three storeys tall. There are entrance doors on each side of the ground floor, although one is blocked. The first floor has two windows, and there are two additional windows on the cap floor, all set within segmental brick arches. The cap, cap gallery, sails, fan, and tail pole are all intact. Inside, the machinery is complete and operates a turbine pump.
