Description
E J Tomes and Regency Building Society is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building located on the east side of Rumbold's Hill in Midhurst. The first floor of the north wall features exposed timbering that oversails with painted brick infilling. The ground floor has been refaced with stone rubble, while the street front is plastered. The building has a tiled roof and contains two storeys with two windows, one of which retains its original glazing bars, while the others have been replaced with modern versions. The shop fronts are also modern.
