Description
Rumbold's House, now serving as a house and shop or office, is located on Rumbold's Hill in Midhurst. The exterior of the building dates from the early 19th century, but it is likely much older. It features a stuccoed front and a very steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof. There is a small projecting bay on the first floor, and the glazing bars are otherwise intact. The doorway is framed by moulded architraves with a projecting cornice. To the north, there is a modern shop front. The south wall is constructed of stone and is tile-hung above. The building has two storeys and two windows.
