Description

Southdown House is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building located on the west side of Henfield High Street. The north wall features exposed timbering and herring-bone brick nogging, while the ground floor has been refronted with red brick and fish-scale tiles above. The building has a Horsham slab roof and a gable at the south end. It includes sash windows with intact glazing bars and a shop front at the north end. The structure has two storeys and an attic in the gable, with a total of three windows.
