Description

The George Hotel is a building primarily from the 19th century, standing two storeys tall with four windows. The main section is stuccoed and has a slate roof. At the south end, there are timber-framed buildings that date back to the 17th century or earlier, which were refaced in the 18th century with red brick and grey headers arranged alternately, although some of the original timber framing is still visible. The building features a stringcourse and retains intact glazing bars on the ground floor only.
