Mill Cottage is a small house dating from the 17th century. It has walls made of malmstone ashlar, featuring stone quoins, a first-floor band, and a plinth. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles, with a catslide at the rear. The building stands two storeys high and has four-light casement windows. The doorframe is plain and contains a boarded door. Above the door, there is a stone plaque inscribed with "16 M 83 M E Minor" and there are later outshots.
