Description

Parsons Piece is an 18th-century house, though with origins in the 17th century. It is constructed of coursed malmstone with galletting, featuring brick quoins, cambered arches, and a plinth. The roof is hipped and covered in tiles. The house has undergone alterations; the east front presents two storeys and four windows above three. Modern casement windows are incorporated. A plain doorway is sheltered by an open timber-framed gabled porch. Inside, a large fireplace is notable, with stone walls supporting a timber bressummer. 20th-century extensions have been added.
