Description

No. 7 Market Street is an early 19th-century cottage. It features painted mathematical tiles and has a flat wooden eaves soffit beneath a plain tiled roof. The building is likely originally part of No. 6, as both share the same roof structure. It stands two storeys tall and has a single-window front. The first-floor window is a glazing bar sash, which is accompanied by 20th-century wooden shutters. On the ground floor, there is a recessed 20th-century single shopfront to the right, with a panelled door to the left that has two upper glazed panels and a transom light above.
