Description
Pruetts is a house dating from the early 17th century with some 20th-century alterations. It has rendered walls and a half-hipped tile roof, featuring tile-hung gables on the rear wings. The building is a three-bay timber-framed lobby-entrance house, consisting of an east end unit and two rear wings from a later date, along with two small coupled outshots at the west end. The north front has two storeys and three windows, with casement windows. The doorway is flanked by pilasters on either side of a chamfered frame, topped with a moulded canopy supported by carved brackets, and features a two-panelled door. Inside, there is a large fireplace, heavy beams, and some exposed framework.
