Description
This is an early and late 18th-century farmhouse constructed with reused stone. The front wall is brick with a blue header chequerwork pattern, while the side walls are a mix of dressed stone and flint. It has an old plain tile roof. The farmhouse is square in plan with a hipped, U-shaped roof. The front elevation is two stories and three bays, with the central bay slightly projecting and constructed of chequer brickwork. A central gabled porch, added in the 19th century, features buttresses on either side and a top-glazed door, topped with a dentilled cornice. The ground floor has three-light casement windows within segmental heads, and the first floor has two- and three-light casements. A blue header band runs across the first floor. The eaves are dentilled on the side bays. The roof is hipped, with symmetrical stacks on the return ridges.
