Description
The former stables to School Hill House is an 18th-century stable block that has undergone 19th-century alterations and was converted into an office in the 20th century. It is constructed of knapped flint with red brick quoins, bands, and window dressings, topped with a slate hipped roof.
The front facing Walwer's Lane is two storeys high and features various red brick bands, with a stack in the gable to the left of the centre. The facade has a cant to the right of the centre and displays an irregular arrangement of four windows on both floors; the ground floor windows are blocked, while the first-floor window to the right is a loading hatch with paired boarded doors.
On the east front, there are end pediment gables and a moulded cornice. The first floor has six windows, and the ground floor has four windows, with doors located to the left and right of the centre. There are slight end projections and a segment-headed dormer to the right of the centre. The north front features weatherboarding on the first floor, with two sets of coach-house doors below.
