Description

Two adjoining icehouses, dating from the early 19th century, are set into sloping ground. These brick-lined cylinders are approximately ten metres deep and feature domed heads. From the domes, vaulted brick passages lead to outside doorways that have battered jambs. The earth cover slopes down to low splayed walls on each side of the entrances.
