Description
Riplington Farmhouse is an old farm building that was replaced around 1840. It features brick walls laid in Flemish bond with blue headers and rubbed flat arches, while the front and east end are stuccoed. The farmhouse has a high plinth, a first-floor band, dentilled eaves fascia, and stone cills. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and there are two lead-covered dormers, with a tile roof at the rear. The symmetrical southwest front has two storeys and three windows, along with a single-storeyed west wing that has one window. The windows are sashes set in reveals. There is a shallow porch in a simple style, complete with a cornice, pilasters, and a four-panelled door beneath a fanlight.
