Description
Bridge House is an early 19th-century house constructed of stuccoed brick with a slate roof. It features two stories and an attic above a cellar, and has a three-bay façade with a lower two-story service wing to the right. The building stands on a high plinth, with cellar windows located in the side bays. Access is provided by four stone steps leading to an early 19th-century top-glazed door, which is accompanied by a rectangular fanlight adorned with interlacing glazing bars in both diamond and circular patterns, and a panelled reveal. The house has five 12-pane sash windows and moulded plaster eaves. The hipped roof includes three 20th-century flat-roofed dormers with 9-pane sashes. Brick stacks are positioned on the return ridges, and the interiors are primarily from the 19th century.
