Description
Water Farm House is a 18th-century farmhouse that has been converted into a private residence. It features a mid-18th century design with an earlier core. The building is constructed of brick with some stone dressings and a plinth, topped with an old plain tile roof. It is two stories high and has five bays, with a central six-panel top-lit door set in a moulded doorcase. This door includes a rectangular fanlight with interlacing glazing bars that create a diamond pattern. There are nine 18th-century two-light leaded casements with contemporary fittings, and all openings have segmental heads made with blue header bricks. The house has a projecting brick cornice and a half-hipped roof that extends to the rear, featuring stacks on the rear face. Inside, the walls are constructed of stud and plaster, and several 18th-century features remain.
