Description

The Old Fir Tree is a house, formerly an inn, dating back to the 18th century, with an early 19th-century extension on the south side. Later 20th-century alterations and rear extensions have also been made. The walls are built of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with cambered brick arches over the ground-floor openings. The roof is tiled, with dentil eaves. The front elevation facing the southeast has two storeys and originally had three windows, now featuring casement windows. A 20th-century gabled brick porch has been added.
