Description
Two houses, dating from the 18th century with an early 19th-century extension and a later service wing. Number 1 has walls of painted brick in a header bond, while Number 2 has red brick in a Flemish bond. Both have cambered ground-floor openings and brick dentil eaves, though these differ between the original and later phases. The service wing is constructed of flint with brick dressings. The roof is tiled and hipped, with two levels. The south-east elevation of the original house is symmetrical, featuring two storeys and three windows (the centre one being a blank bay), while the north side extension has two and one storeys, with 1.1 windows. Casement windows are present throughout. There are two plain porches. A lead fire insurance sign is positioned above the entrance to Number 1.
