Description

UPHAM CHURCH STREET SU 52 SW 1/9 The Rectory 7.2.52 II

House. Early and mid C19. Walls of brickwork in Flemish bond with blue headers, rubbed flat arches, stone cills. Hipped tile roof, gable to north wing. Central block with end wings; east front elevation of two storeys, 1.3.3 windows. Sashes, the north wing a mid C19 two storeyed splayed bay of three lights. The doorway has a stone moulded canopy on carved brackets, with reeded architrave and half-glazed door. The other elevations are less regular, the south having an intermediate window lighting the staircase.
