Description

Gilberts Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage with a 20th-century extension. The walls are of painted brickwork, while the extension is boarded. The cottage has a thatched roof with eyebrow dormers, and the extension has a tile roof. The south front is symmetrical, one storey high with an attic, and features two windows. A west-side extension adds a single window. The windows are casements, and there is a French door. The rear elevation, which serves as the entrance, is one storey high and has two windows.
