Description
The Brushmakers Arms is a public house dating from the early 19th century. It features walls of painted brickwork laid in Flemish Garden Wall bond, with a boarded wall on the north end cross wing. The building has a tiled roof and a long range that includes former stables at the north end, which extends into a cross wing. The east front elevation is two storeys high and has three windows. It includes casement windows and a rectangular bay window on the ground floor from the late 19th century, with its roof extended to form a canopy over the entrance. The entrance itself has a six-panelled door, two of which are glazed at the top.
