Description
Little Manor is a 17th-century lobby entrance timber-framed house that has been significantly renovated and extended in the late 18th century, with additional late 19th-century extensions that match the original style, along with some minor 20th-century alterations. The walls are constructed of brickwork, colourwashed in Flemish bond with some blue headers, and sit above an old high moulded plinth that is broken. The openings are cambered with stone cills, and the parapet is raised at each corner with a ball finial. Other walls feature Flemish Garden Wall or mixed bonds. The roof is hipped and half-hipped, covered in tiles and set behind a high parapet on the two main elevations, with coupled diagonal stacks on a rectangular base that includes a stone plaque dated 1620. The north-west front elevation is two storeys high and has four windows with sashes set in reveals. The doorway features an open pediment on reeded pilasters, an arched opening with a radiating fanlight, and a six-panelled door. Inside, there is some remaining timber framing, a late 18th-century staircase, reeded architraves on panelled doors, and two fireplaces.
