Description
Jarmans Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-framed house that features 18th century cladding and some minor renovations from the 20th century. The front walls are rendered, with a first-floor band on part of the building, while another part has exposed framing on the first floor. The west wall is constructed with brickwork in Flemish bond and also has a first-floor band. The roof is half-hipped with a catslide at the rear and a hip over the porch. This is a three-bay lobby-entrance house with a projecting two-storeyed porch. The north front elevation consists of one storey and an attic, with two windows on the first floor and one on the ground floor. The windows are casements, and there is a plain doorframe that encloses a coupled fanlight above a two-panelled door.
