Description
Pear Tree Cottage, Nos 1 and 2, Glynde Post Office, and The Little Cottage is an 18th-century building that served as an inn until the mid-19th century. The structure has two storeys and features four windows. It has a tiled roof, and Pear Tree Cottage is constructed of red brick with sash windows that retain their glazing bars. The doorway has a flat hood above it and a door with six fielded panels. The Post Office includes an early 19th-century shop window with intact glazing bars and one gabled dormer. The Little Cottage is weatherboarded and has horizontally sliding sash windows.
