Public house. Late C16 Wealden house, with C18 small extensions at each end and C20 restoration, with minor extensions. Exposed frame, with jettied upper floor at each side, and curved braces supporting the intervening eaves plate: painted brick infill and other walling, some flintwork at the rear. Hipped thatch roof, with catslide at rear, and extended to a lower eaves at the south end. East front of two storeys, 1.1.1 above 4 windows. Casements. Plain doorway; porch at the south end.
