Description
Sleepy Hollow is a cottage that was recently converted from two cottages. It dates back to the early 17th century and features a timber frame with an early 19th-century extension and late 20th-century restoration along with a minor extension. The building has an exposed frame with painted brick infill, and some sections of brick walling are in Flemish and English bonds, with a small boarded area at the rear. The steep roof is now covered in shingles, has a half-hip at the west end, and a catslide at part of the rear, along with flat-roofed dormers. The south front elevation consists of one storey and an attic, with two above four windows. The windows are modern metal casements from the 20th century. There are also two boarded doors in plain frames and a lead Sun fire insurance sign with the number 220806.
