Description

Numbers 7 and 8, known as Richmond Cottage, are two houses with timber-framed origins, primarily dating from the early 19th century. The walls are made of painted brickwork in Flemish bond, featuring brick dentil eaves, and the roof is covered with 20th-century interlocking tiles. The south front has two storeys and three windows. The upper sashes are in exposed frames, while the ground floor features wedge-shaped bays with two sashes on brackets. Number 7 has a 20th-century plain classical doorcase, whereas Number 8 has a boarded door in a plain frame. There is also a lead Sun fire insurance sign, numbered 181435.
