Description

The Mill House is a house dating to circa 1830. It is constructed of grey brick with red quoins and dressings, with patterned chequered red and grey brick sides. The roof is slate, with a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a shallow, pyramid-shaped hip, featuring an end stack to the left and a rear stack to the right. The house is three storeys high, with a lower second storey, and has a regular three-window front. It features glazing bar sash windows in brick surrounds with gauged heads. A central second-floor window is blind. The central entrance is distinguished by a moulded round-arched surround, a panelled door, and an arched overlight. Originally, the house served as the Mill House for Malling Mill.
