Description

This is a cottage dating from the early 19th century, and potentially incorporating an earlier core. It is constructed of flint with red brick dressings. The roof is covered in plain tiles and features a wooden eaves cornice, a tall brick stack with oversailing cornices to the left, and a smaller stack to the right. Two gabled semi-dormers, each with a bargeboarded and tile-hung gable, are present. The cottage is one and a half storeys high, with a two-window front featuring sash windows. There are two additional small windows, one on each floor, within the chimney bay on the far left; these are casements, with the ground-floor window having a pointed arch. A central half-glazed door is topped by a flat hood supported by brackets.
