Description
Gardeners Cottage is a mid-18th century brick cottage with an old plain tiled roof. It has two bays and is one and a half storeys high, featuring a blank upper storey. At the front, there is a central 18th-century six-panelled door with a panelled reveal, although the original gabled porch has been removed. On either side of the door, there are 19th-century two-light casement windows with cambered Dutch arches. Above these, there are three small blocked openings with timber lintels, and the central opening was blocked flush when the porch was removed. The roof is hipped and has a central stack. The cottage has been empty for the past ten years.
