Description
The Hurdlers Cottage is a cottage from the 18th century located in Tichborne. It is constructed of brick with blue headers and has rendered plinths, topped with a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of two bays, with a 20th-century single storey bay added to the right. The doorway is positioned between the bays, slightly left of centre, and features a 20th-century door. On either side of the door, there are 19th-century three-light casement windows, all of which have blue header segmental heads. The 20th-century bay includes a replica three-light window. On the first floor, there are two small two-light casements flanking a single casement. The roof is half-hipped with wide eaves, and there are gable stacks at both ends of the building.
