Description

Shawford Mill is a mill built in 1795, as indicated on a tablet. It is constructed of brick with an old plain tile roof and is a wide, two-storey, two-bay building. The central entrance features an 18th-century six-panel door with a segmental head, and above it is a planked door in a solid frame leading to the first floor. The building retains the remains of four nine-pane sash windows in segmental openings. The roof is half-hipped, and no machinery survives.
