Description
Barn Cottage and Barn, located 10 meters southeast of Church Farm House, is an L-shaped barn range dating from the 18th century. The structure features a timber-frame construction with weatherboarding set on a brick plinth, topped with slate and shingle roofs. The wing immediately south of the house runs parallel to the front and consists of five bays with double doors at one end. On the side, there is a central midstray porch with a half-hipped roof, while the other side has an outshot. The other barn, now converted into a residence known as Barn Cottage, is a late 18th-century seven-bay barn that is blank on the side facing the house. Its roof is also half-hipped. Inside, it has a queen strut roof with straight braces and windbraces.
