Description

Blackbirds Bookshop and "Plain-n-Fancy" Women's Clothing Shop is a house that has been converted into a shop. It is a timber-framed building dating from the 17th century or earlier. The ground floor is faced with stone rubble, which is now painted, while the upper floor is tile-hung, with the first floor still oversailing. The building has a gable at the north end of the front and features a tiled roof. There are casement windows and a recessed doorway with a moulded architrave surround and a flat hood above. The shop has modern windows and consists of two storeys with a total of six windows.
