Description

Lombard Cottage, also known as Petworth Club, is a cottage dating from the 17th century. It is a two-storey building with an attic and features six windows. The exterior is made of sandstone rubble, which has been patched with red brick. The front has a gable in the center that includes an attic window, and the roof is tiled. The windows are casement style. The north end of the building was refaced in the early 19th century with red brick and grey headers, and this section rises to three storeys.
