Description

Kevis House is an 18th-century cottage located on the west side of Lombard Street, Petworth. It was formerly known as Virginia Cottage. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows. It is constructed of red brick with grey brick headers, and has a tiled roof. The ground floor has two small bays with intact glazing bars in the windows. Above these are casement windows. A gabled, weather-boarded addition projects from the north end of the building above the roofline; this was likely originally a store or warehouse.
