Description

Elm Cottage is a small house built in the late 18th century and early 19th century. It features red brickwork in Flemish bond and has cambered arches over the ground floor openings, along with a high plinth. The roof is plain tiled with brick dentil eaves and a catslide at the rear. The east front has two storeys and is symmetrical with three windows, although the center window is blank. The windows are old leaded casements, and there is a boarded door set in a plain frame. At the back, there is a two-storeyed rear wing from the early 19th century, which has flint walls with brick dressings.
