Description
The store shed, formerly known as the Bothies, is a 19th-century structure located in Stanmer Park. It is built of coursed brick and flint, with brick dressings, except for the western quarter, which features flint, some breeze-block, and weatherboarding on the western gable end. The roof is tiled. The shed is a single storey with four inner bays open on the northern side, supported by timber posts. It appears that the shed originally had five central open bays, but the westernmost bay has been closed off, and the bay next to it has been rebuilt. There is one window in the north wall, a new window in the west end, and a 20th-century stack at the north-east corner. The interior has not been inspected. The shed has some group value with the nearby stables.
