Description

This cottage, originally a pair, dates from the early 19th century and is located to the south of the Bowling Green Inn. It is constructed of regularly coursed gritstone and features projecting quoins. The building has a central stone stack with diamond chimneys made of 20th-century brick and a hipped roof covered with concrete tiles. The cottage is two storeys high and has two bays, with glazing bar sashes set into flush stone frames. There are two doorways, both with massive stone surrounds; one doorway is now blocked, while the other has a plain planked door. The cottage is listed for its group value only.
