Description

The gatepiers to Eyam House, dating from the early 19th century, are made of gritstone and stand eight feet high. They are square and feature rusticated surfaces, moulded cornices, and ball finials. There is one gatepier on either side of the double wooden gates, with an additional gatepier to the east for a side gate. These gatepiers are included in the listing for their group value.
