Description
Highcliffe Farmhouse and Jumber Cottage is a mid-18th century farmhouse that has been converted into two houses. It is constructed from coursed gritstone rubble with gritstone dressings and quoins. The building features a steeply pitched stone slate roof, with moulded stone copings and kneelers, some of which have been partly removed on the west side. There are stone gable end stacks, and the structure is three storeys high with two bays.
The east side has a flush doorcase that is now partly blocked and filled with a 20th-century window. A 20th-century half-glazed door has been inserted into what was originally a two-light flush mullion window on the west side. Further along, there is another inserted doorcase with a 20th-century half-glazed door and a three-light flush mullion window. Above these, there are two two-light flush mullion windows, and above again, two similar windows. All the windows have been replaced with 20th-century casements.
