Description

The Ashford Bobbin Mill, East Building, is a bobbin mill built around 1870. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with punched gritstone dressings and features a slate roof with overhanging eaves. The building has two storeys and two bays. On the east side, there is a wide doorcase, and above it, a 2-light mullion window. To the west, there is another doorcase, and to the east, a flight of stairs leads up to the doorcase. This building is listed for its historical interest.
