Description
Pikehall Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse built from coursed limestone rubble with gritstone dressings and quoins. It features a stone slate roof and stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. The gable end stacks are rendered with plain bands. The building has two storeys and three bays.
On the south elevation, there is a slightly off-centre doorcase with a rusticated quoin surround, leading to a glazed and panelled door. To the east of the door, there is a 2-light mullion window with a plain surround, and a similar window is located at the far west. Between the doorcase and the western window, there is a single light window with a flush surround. Above the doorcase, a centrally placed single light window is flanked by 2-light flush mullion windows. All the windows are 19th-century casements.
