Description

The Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located in Alstonefield. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a clay tile roof with raised, coped verges on kneelers. The building has a single cell layout, standing two storeys tall with a gable-lit attic. It has one window, which is mullioned and includes a straight dripstone and flat faced mullions. To the right of the window, there is a nail-studded door that is topped with a bracketed hood.
