Description

The Old Vicarage is a house that was originally built as a vicarage in 1836. It is constructed from tooled, coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings and features a pyramidal slate roof with a central brick ridge stack. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a plain sill band at the first floor. The central entrance is framed by a pilastered doorcase with a plain entablature, leading to a glazed 20th-century door. On either side of the door are glazing bar sash windows, with three similar sash windows located above on the second floor.
