Description
Ebenezer Chapel is a former chapel built in 1830. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone and features a stone slate roof with a stone-coped south gable. The south elevation is gabled and double fronted, with a central doorway that has a pointed arch and a triple fluted surround. The double doors are adorned with gothic tracery, and there is a fanlight above with gothick glazing bars. On either side of the doorway are pointed arched windows, each with triple fluted surrounds and gothick glazing bars. Above the windows, there is a string band, and in the center of the gable, a stone panel is inscribed with "Ebenezer Chapel / Erected for the / Wesleyan Methodists / 1830."
